Tuliptree (Liriodendron tulipifera)
Truncate Leaf Apex
The leaf base or apex is perpendicular to leaf petiole and relatively straight across.
The leaves of the Tuliptree fall between broadly-notched and truncate. There are not many woody plants in Central Illinois which display this characteristic.
